My design proposal, New Swimming Spot, aims to raise awareness around urban areas about the passive contamination that happenof one of life's most precious elements: water.

Within the natural water cycle, rain is a main component and responsible for most of the fresh water on Earth. When the rain falls on cities like Stockholm, the water gets all kind of pollutants found on our streets. As the cycle of water continues, it does with all the contaminants collected, without any kind of filtration or chemical treatment, until it reaches our seas, lakes and rivers.

Our favourite swimming spots start where the street’s sewage drains are.
